At 8 years old, Vedder brings more than half a dog-century of experience to UNUM Collaborative’s design process. As our resident Chief Barkitect, he has a nose for good design and an instinct for sniffing out the best ideas. Vedder’s specialties include site inspections (walks), structural integrity testing (leaning on legs), and client relations (tail wags).
When he’s not paws-ing to review drawings, Vedder is busy demonstrating that great design is all about the bones, and he’s always willing to dig deeper to get them just right. His design philosophy? Every space should have a welcoming entry, a sturdy roof, and plenty of spots to curl up after a long day of fetch.
Whether greeting guests at the door or lending a paw in the studio, Vedder keeps our projects grounded, reminding us that, in both architecture and life, it’s the little details (and belly rubs) that make a design truly timeless.
