Originally from Pennsylvania, Adam moved to Denver to pursue his Master of Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver. He graduated from CU Denver’s College of Architecture and Planning in 2012, and was recognized for his academic excellence and leadership in design with the prestigious Henry Adams Certificate. Adam has cultivated a thoughtful and research-driven approach to architecture throughout his career.
His portfolio includes a diverse range of commercial and residential projects across the Mountain West and the Eastern United States. He is known for synthesizing complex design challenges into cohesive, contextually responsive solutions. As co-founder of UNUM Collaborative, he champions a design philosophy that thoughtfully integrates diverse perspectives with conceptual clarity after rigorous analysis.
Serving as UNUM’s Design Director, Adam leads the firm’s creative direction, guiding projects from initial ideation through execution. His approach emphasizes the interplay between form, function, and narrative, creating performance-driven, evocative architectural interventions that build on foundational (traditional?) design principles. Passionate about early-stage design research and conceptual development, he is committed to exploring new methodologies that transform built environments into communities of lasting significance.
Adam’s practice is one of evolving discipline; it requires a continuous dialogue between theory and application, analysis and intuition, structure and experience. His work reflects a commitment to intellectual rigor, spatial innovation, and the enduring impact of well-conceived design.
