Taking existing elements of the already established Masterpiece brand, like the hot rolled steel and subway tile, the design team intended to raise the level of sophistication for Chef Justin Brunson's new casual restaurant in the Lowry neighborhood.  A sleek white bar is contrasted by butcher block inlays and surrounding steel detailing.  A carved banquette feature wall curves slightly to cradle the occupant, paying a visual homage to the well worn butcher blocks of Brunson's first kitchen.  Details such as the cleaver door handles and butcher block lavatories are all tangible extensions of the brand.  Slatted ceilings and banquettes on the interior extend to the exterior patio structure, providing shade and enclosure in simple clean forms.
